1. Do I need to turn on recording manually?
When the dash cam turns on, if inserted with a usable microSD card, it automatically starts recording and no manual operation needed.
2. Can I pause during recording?
The dash cam is a road safety record tool and it needs as much as possibly to record driving videos to maximize the protection of the car owners. Therefore, the dash cam does not support manually pause video.
3. Under what circumstances will the video recording stop?
The dash cam automatically stops recording in the following situations:
- When you enter the album via the dash cam or the app.
- When you modify parameters related to recording, such as system time.
- When you format the MicroSD card in the dash cam.
- When the rating speed of the microSD card is below U1(UHS-1) and the writing speed decreases in recording, the recording will pause (in this case, replace with a higher-level microSD card).
- When your microSD card has increasing fragments and decreasing writing speed after being used in the dash cam or in other devices for a period of time, the recording will pause (in this case, please format the microSD card in the dash cam).
- When you restore factory settings.
- When you update the firmware of the dash cam.
4. How to check whether the dash cam is in normal recording?
When the dash cam is in normal recording, a blinking red dot and the icon will be displayed in the top left corner of the screen. When the dash cam is not in recording mode, the icon Not Rec will be displayed instead.
5. What types of videos the dash cam record?
Dash cam records the following types of video:
- Front camera video
- Backup camera video(when installed with a backup camera)
- Emergency video
- Parking video
6. Can I record videos with sound?
The device records soundlessly by default. If you would like to record videos with sound, you can do either of the followings:
