1. What’s the length of a time-lapse video?

Like a normal video, the length of a standard time-lapse video is 1 minute. The time-lapse video is captured at 1 frame per second, thus the dash cam actually records a 30-minute normal video and condenses to a 1-minute time lapse video.

2. How to enable the time-lapse function?

The time-lapse function can only be used when the parking surveillance cord is installed.
After the parking surveillance cord is installed, you can enable the time-lapse function in  > Video settings > Lapse video.
When the vehicle is shut off, the dash cam will enter the time-lapse recording mode when detecting the ACC off signal. When the dash cam detects the ACC on signal, it will exit the time-lapse recording mode.

3. How to view the time-lapse video?

The time-lapse videos are stored in the Time-lapse directory. Press the function button below the icon  to enter the album, select the Time-lapse directory to view them.

4. Is the time-lapse function in conflict with the parking surveillance function?

If both functions are enabled, they won’t conflict with each other.

When the parking surveillance cord is installed and the time-lapse function is enabled, the dash cam enter the time-lapse recording mode when detecting the ACC off signal.

During this process, if the acceleration sensor of the dash cam detects vibration, the parking surveillance function will be triggered and the dash cam will automatically save the current time-lapse video and start to record a parking surveillance video. Once the parking surveillance video is completed and stored, the dash cam will continue the time-lapse video.
