Button functions

Press the power button a different number of times to perform different functions.

Status	Operation	Function
Turned off	Press once	Turn on the device
Turned on	Press once	Turn the Wi-Fi on/off
	Press 3 times in a row	Format the memory card
	Press 5 times in a row	Reset factory settings
	Press and hold for 3 seconds	Turn off the device
Receiving the connection request	Press once	Confirm the connection authorization

Indicator

The indicator of the dash cam is ring-shaped and is at the outer edge of the power button.
Different indicator colors and flashing status indicate different operations of the device.

1. Off
When the device is turned off, the indicator is off.

2. Always on

• Green: Normally recording.
• Blue: Not in the recording mode.
• Red: Error in recording.

In the situations below, the dash cam is not in the recording mode:

• When the dash cam is turned on the first time and waits for the activation.
• When the 70mai app is demonstrating the beginner’s guide.
• When the album on the 70mai app is visited.
• When the dash cam is receiving update package pushed from the 70mai app.

3. Flashing 

When the device executes a temporary task, the indicator flashes during the whole task process.
