1. How to record an emergency video?

Emergency video recording is enabled by default. When the dash cam is turned on, it can record an emergency video automatically when it detects any collisions.

The process of recording an emergency video can’t be interrupted. When the emergency video recording is completed, the dash cam automatically enters the normal video recording mode.

2. How to change the sensitivity of emergency video recording?

You can change the sensitivity of the sensor that triggers emergency video recording in the dash cam’s Settings > Collision sensitivity.

3. How to view an emergency video?

Emergency videos are saved in Albums > Event folder. The albums can be visited when the dash cam is connected with your phone.

Due to the complexity of road conditions during driving, we can’t guarantee that the video recorded can be stored in the emergency video directory every time an emergency occurs. If you can’t find the video in the Event directory, please check the Normal folder.

4. What is the length of an emergency video?

An emergency video contains two parts: an 1-minute normal video that is being record, followed by a 30-second video that is recorded from the moment that the emergency video recording is triggered.

Therefore, its minimum length may be 31 seconds, and its maximum length may be 1 minute and 30 seconds.

5. Why are the emergency videos lost?

If you always accelerate or decelerate rapidly when driving, or you drive on complicate roads (the roads are uneven or full with bumps or obstacles), you may brake or swerve sharply often. If a high sensitivity is set, it’s likely to generate many emergency videos, thus the earliest emergency videos get covered due to the loop recording mechanism.
In such case, it’s recommended to set a low sensitivity.
