HOW WE UPDATE THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We review the Privacy Policy periodically based on changes in business and technology, and we may update this Privacy Policy. If we make change to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you via software upgrade. Your continued use of the products and services will be deemed acknowledgement of the updated Privacy Policy. We will ask for your explicit consent when we collect additional personal information from you or when we use or disclose your personal information for new purposes.

WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND HOW CAN WE USE IT

In order to provide our services to you, we will ask you to provide personal information that is necessary to provide those services to you. If you do not provide your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with our products or services.

We may collect the following types of information (which may or may not be personal information):

  • Personal profile information: We may collect any and all personal information you provide to us, like your nickname, gender, birthday, height, weight, maximum heart rate, user account
  • Device related information for connection: We may collect your device IMEI, MAC address, Android ID, device ID, phone model name, phone system version, Bluetooth information, account and device binding relationship.
  • Information collected through wearable device: When wearable device connected and synchronized, Maimo Fit app may collect information below.
  • Sports information：During your use of the device, we may collect and record information from your connected device about your sports activities, including your step count, cadence, standing activity and duration, exercise mode, exercise distance, exercise time, exercise record, pace, calorie, exercise performance, altitude, maximum oxygen uptake, swimming stroke times, strokes in different swimming posture, stroke frequency, turnaround times.
  • Health information：During your use of the device, we may collect and record information from your connected device about your health, including heart rate, pressure, sleep time, body energy.
  • Location information: When you use location-based program services or features, we may collect your location information such as your GPS information, tracing data, longitude and latitude through your mobile phone or your wearable device.
  • Wearable device settings information: We may collect your wearable device settings information, such as device password, sedentary reminder, raise to view info, device app/widget management, reminder, alarm, calendar, stopwatch, timer, theme, screen brightness, do not disturb mode settings, finding your mobile phone and so on.
  • Watch face information: We may collect information of the watch face you downloaded and applied on your wearable device, including watch face name, watch face details, file size, update time, developer.
  • User feedback information: We may collect the information you submitted to us in Feedback page, including app version number, wearable device number, contact info(optional), phone user agent.
  • Phone notification setting: We provide notification function on your wearable device so that you can receive corresponding notification from your phone on your wearable device screen, including message notification, calling notification and third party apps notifications. To achieve this, we may need notification permission for Maimo Fit app.
  • Non-personally identifiable information: We may also collect other types of information which are not directly or indirectly linked to an individual and which may not be defined as personal information according to applicable local laws. Such information may include statistical data generated when you use specific service (e.g. non-identifiable device related information, daily usage events, page access events, page access time events and session events); network monitoring data (e.g. request time, number of request or error request etc.); application crash events. The purpose for such collecting is to improve the services we provide to you.

HOW WE USE THE PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

The purpose of collecting personal information is to provide you with products and/or services, and to ensure that we comply with applicable laws, regulations and other regulatory requirements.

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Providing, processing, maintaining, improving and developing our goods and/or services to you, including after-sales and customer support and for services on your device or through our websites.
  • Analyzing and developing statistical information on use of our products and services to better improve our products and services.

  • Personal profile information: We may use the personal information you provide to us to log in your account and provide you with accurate exercise results and recommendations.
  • Wearable device activation and binding: We may use the wearable device related information to complete the pairing and binding process.
  • Sports information recording and display: this information will be used to calculate and display calories burned for exercise, show training results, calculate activity intensity levels, calculate oxygen uptake, etc. so that you can better understand your exercise status.
  • Health information recording and display: this information will be used to calculate and display heart rate, pressure, sleep, body energy, etc. so that you can better understand your health condition.
  • Phone notification setting：If you authorize notification permission for Maimo Fit app, we can provide notification function for your
  • Wearable devices to receive these notifications or to hang up the call.
  • We will not read your notification information; these notifications will only be used for display on the wearable device screen, we will not save it or upload to cloud. You can manage in the app to turn on/off notifications on the Maimo Fit app.
  • Location information: Location info will be used to generate outdoors activity path record for you to review and to provide weather service for you. GPS location info will only be collected when you use outdoor activities function on wearable device or Maimo Fit app. When you turn on the “weather sync” function on the Maimo Fit app, you can view the weather information and your location synchronized from the app on your wearable device. Please be assured that your location and weather information will not be saved to your wearable device or uploaded to the cloud.
  • Wearable device settings related functions: Wearable device settings related information will be used to provide you with alarm, stopwatch, timer functions, as well as to let you manage the settings on your wearable device, such as changing theme, adjust screen brightness, do not disturb mode settings, finding your mobile phone and so on. In order to achieve these functions, we need to collect your settings information, please rest assured that your settings will only be saved on the wearable device, we will not upload to the cloud.
  • Watch face: This information will be used to sync the selected watch face between your wearable device and your phone, and to display relevant information of the watch face on both ends.
  • User feedback information: this information will only be collected when you submit to us in feedback function. And it will be used for us to analyze the issue you submitted and contact with you for further analysis.

COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

Technologies such as cookies, tags, and scripts are used by us. We treat information collected by cookies and other technologies as non‑personal information, except where Internet Protocol (IP) addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information by local laws.

  • Local Storage – Cookies: We use Local Storage Objects (LSOs) such as cookie to store content and preferences. During you use wearable device together with Maimo Fit APP, cookies may be generated to collect and store information locally.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Our service supports synchronizing the step information of your bound wearable device to third-party platforms (such as Apple Health, Googlefit, Strava, MyfitnessPal). To support this feature, we will collect your shared account ID on third-party platforms. If you no longer use this feature, you can unbind, and after unbinding, we will delete this information.

HOW WE STORE AND PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We are committed to keeping your personal information secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure or other similar risks, we have put in place all legally required physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect on your using our software and services. We will ensure that we safeguard your personal information in accordance with applicable law.

All your personal information is stored on secure servers, and protected in controlled facilities. We classify your information based on importance and sensitivity, and ensure that your personal information has the required level of security. We have special access controls for cloud-based data storage, and we regularly review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against any unauthorized access and use.

We conduct due diligence on third party service providers and business partners to make sure that they are able to protect your personal information. We also check that appropriate security standards are maintained by these third parties by putting in place appropriate contractual restrictions, and where necessary, carrying out audits and assessments.   • Allow/deny each permission of app
  • Bind/unbind your device;

WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

You may withdraw your consent previously provided to us by sending an email to security@70mai.com . We will process your request within a reasonable time from when the request was made, and thereafter not collect, use and/or disclose your personal information as per your request.

Depending on the extent of your withdrawal of consent, please note that you may not be able to continue receiving the full benefit of our products and services. The withdrawal of your consent or authorization will not affect the validity of our processing carried out on the basis of the consent up until the point of withdrawal.

PROTECTION OF MINORS

We consider it the responsibility of the parent or guardian to supervise the child’s use of our products or services. However, we do not offer services directly to a child or use personal data of children for the purposes of marketing.
