1. How to turn on the device?
Dash cam supports the following ways to turn on:
- When the dash cam is connected to external power supply and being manually turned off, press the power button once to turn it on.
- Connect the cigarette lighter socket and start the vehicle. The cigarette lighter socket will be powered by the vehicle and the dash cam will be turned on automatically.
- In the parking surveillance mode, the dash cam will be turned on automatically when any collisions or movements of the vehicle is detected.
- In the parking surveillance or time-lapse photography mode, when the vehicle is started, the dash cam will automatically turn on when it detects the ACC ON signal on the parking surveillance cable*.
* The parking surveillance cable needs to be installed beforehand.
If no external power supply is connected, the dash cam will not be turned on.
2. How to turn off the device?
Dash cam supports the following ways to turn off:
- When the dash cam is turned on, press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds to turn it off.
- If the dash cam doesn’t respond during the operation, press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to force shut down.
- When the dash cam is connected to the cigarette lighter socket, it will turn off automatically when the vehicle is shut off.
- The dash cam will automatically turn off when it detects the ACC OFF signal on the parking surveillance cable*. However, in such case, if the parking surveillance function has been enabled, the dash cam will enter the parking surveillance mode instead of turning off.
* The parking surveillance cable needs to be installed beforehand.
The dash cam will turn off automatically in the following situations:
- Some vehicles still power the cigarette lighter in parking. In such case, if you set auto-off time in settings, the dash cam will automatically turn off if the vehicle is stopped and in stationary for the certain period of time. (You can set the auto-off time in settings in the dash cam homepage).
- If the ambient temperature exceeds the discharge temperature limit of the built-in battery, the dash cam will automatically turn off.

3. How to reset the device?
You can restore the dash cam to factory settings in the following ways:
- Press the power button 5 times in a row.
- When the dash cam is connected to the app, reset the device in dash cam settings.
4. The dash cam doesn’t work when the vehicle is started.
- Please check the connection between the dash cam, power cable and car charger.
- This situation occurs may due to the unmatched voltage between the cigarette lighter socket and the dash cam. Make sure you use the standard power cable and car charger within the package in case of incompatibility issues.
