1. How to enable the time-lapse function?

The time-lapse function can be enabled only after the parking surveillance cable is installed.

When the dash cam is connected to the app, go to dash cam settings and select Time-lapse photography > On.

Once enabled, when the vehicle is shut off, the dash cam will enter the time-lapse recording mode when detecting the ACC OFF signal.

When the dash cam detects the ACC ON signal, it will exit the time-lapse recording mode.

2. How to view the time-lapse video?

In the dash cam homepage, tap Albums.

Timeline: The time-lapse videos are the purple zone in the timeline bar. Drag the timeline to the purple zone, the video will replay automatically once the buffer is completed.
Categories: The time-lapse videos are saved in the Time-lapse folder. Open the folder and select the video to replay.

Note: All the videos use loop recording. This means that when the storage space for a given type of video has been used up and a new video of the same type is recorded, the oldest video will be automatically deleted and replaced by the new one. To ensure that important videos are not erased, you should therefore immediately export them to your phone, computer, or another device.

3. Is the time-lapse function in conflict with the parking surveillance function?

If both functions are enabled, they won’t conflict with each other.

When the vehicle shuts down, the dash cam will enter the time-lapse recording mode when it detects the ACC OFF signal on the parking surveillance cable.

During this process, if the acceleration sensor of the dash cam detects any vibrations, the parking surveillance function will be triggered and the dash cam will automatically save the current time-lapse video and start to record a parking surveillance video.

Once the parking surveillance video is completed and stored, the dash cam will continue the time-lapse video recording.
