Entering album
- Go to 70mai app, tap Connect to dash cam on the dash cam card to enter the dash cam homepage.
- Tap icon
to enter Album. View the recorded videos in Timeline or Categories.
Viewing album
- Timeline
Video types are distinguished by color in the timeline bar. Drag the timeline to the video clip you would like to view, and then the video will replay automatically once the buffer is completed. - Categories
Recorded videos are saved in the All videos folder. Tap the video thumbnail and then the video will replay automatically once the buffer is completed.
Emergency, parking surveillance and time-lapse videos are marked with different icons on the thumbnails in the All videos folder. Meanwhile, those video types have separate folders listed in Categories. Open individual folders to view videos.
Photos are saved in Categories > Photo folder. Open the folder, tap the thumbnail to view the photo.
Note: Photos will not display in the Timeline view.
Downloading/ videos/photos
- Timeline: Drag the timeline to the video clip you would like to download, tap Download videos. Select duration and then download.
- Categories: Open the video folder, select the video thumbnail to download. Download photos in the same way in the Photo folder.
Downloaded videos and photos are saved in your phone’s album. You can view them in your phone’s album or in Local album in the 70mai app.
Sharing videos/photos
- Open the 70mai app and tap icon
on the left upper corner.
- Tap Local album. Select photos and videos and then tap Share.
Deleting videos/photos
Deletion can only be performed in Categories. Open the video or photo folder, select the video or photo thumbnail and delete.
Hi-Tech Effects
During the operation, dash cam records videos and saves the vehicle’s driving status as well as the road conditions. Those data can be visualized and overlaid on the recorded video image, called Hi-tech effect.
When you replay videos, tap Hi-Tech Effects and the data will overlay on the video image.
Hi-Tech Effects icon explanation
❶ Roll angle
❷ Date and time
❸ A rapid acceleration event is identified and the event time displays on the left.
❹ A rapid turn event is identified and the event time displays on the left side.
❺ Driving direction
❻ Lane recognition: Indicates the vehicle’s current driving lane. When the vehicle is on the correct lane, the signal is blue. If lane departure event occurs, the departure side will display yellow line.
❼ Vehicle recognition: Indicates distance between the front and current vehicles. Blue indicates that the distance is safe, yellow, a relative close distance, and red indicates a dangerous distance.
❽ Acceleration indicator
❾ Current speed and if speed exceeds 120km/h, the circle and value turn red.
❿ Altitude
⓫ Pitch angle
Pedestrian/ non-motor vehicle recognition: If pedestrian or non-motor vehicle is too close to this vehicle, the two signals display.
If the ADAS function of the dash cam is disabled, lane recognition, vehicle recognition and pedestrian/ non-motor vehicle recognition data won’t display on the Hi-Tech Effects. To ensure such information appear, enable the ADAS function and complete the calibration.
