Dash cam settings

In the 70mai app, tap the icon  on the dash cam card and then tap Dash cam settings. You can change various settings of the dash cam.

Some options require connection with the dash cam Wi-Fi. Tap the text box on the top of this page to connect Wi-Fi.

Changing Wi-Fi password

1. Enter Dash cam settings in the app.
2. Tap Wi-Fi hotspot settings > Modify the Wi-Fi hotspot password.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to change the password.

The changed password will display in the Wi-Fi page in the dash cam. Press the function button below the icon  to enter Settings > System settings > Wi-Fi hotspot to view.

When enter the dash cam homepage, please reconnect the dash cam Wi-Fi with the new password.

Updating the dash cam firmware

1. Open the 70mai app, find the dash cam card and tap the icon  .
2. If there is available update of the firmware, a small red dot displays next to Firmware update. Tap to enter the downloading page.
3. Download the new firmware version following the onscreen instructions. Make sure your phone is connect with Internet during the downloading.
4. After the download is completed, return to the dash cam card and enter the dash cam homepage.
5. In the dash cam homepage, a prompt “Available update package detected. Push it to the Dash Cam?” will display. Tap Push and follow the instructions on the screen to fulfill the update.
6. After the update is completed, the dash cam will restart automatically and then you can use it with the latest firmware version.

Note: The dash cam should be connected to an external power supply during the update.
