Emergency video recording
Emergency videos can be recorded in the following ways:
- Tap icon
in the quick control toolbar.
- Speak out the voice command “Lock the video” when dash cam is running.
- When emergency video function is enabled, dash cam will record an emergency video automatically when it detects collision.
From the moment the recording is triggered, the dash cam will continue to record for 25 seconds and combine it with the 5-second-video recorded before the trigger to generate a 30-second-long emergency video. When the recording is complete, dash cam automatically enters the standard video recording mode.
Notes:
- The duration of the emergency video couldn’t be manually changed.
- Dash cam will not record emergency video when it is connected with the app.
Changing sensitivity
The higher the sensitivity, the easier it is to trigger emergency video recording. Set sensitivity according to your needs:
- Tap icon
in the quick control toolbar to enter settings, select Smart travel > Collision detection sensitivity and select desired option.
- Open the 70mai app, connect the dash cam and enter the dash cam homepage. Select Settings > Emergency video > Collision detection sensitivity and select desired option.
