Recording an emergency video
Emergency videos can be recorded in the following ways:
- Press the function button below the icon
on the main screen.
- When emergency video function is enabled, dash cam will record an emergency video automatically when it detects collision.
The emergency video recoding process can’t be interrupted. When the recording is complete, dash cam automatically enters the standard video recording mode.
When an external camera is installed, the front and external cameras will record emergency videos simultaneously.
Note: Dash cam will not record emergency video when it is connected with the app.
Video duration
From the moment the recording is triggered, the dash cam will continue to record for 25 seconds and combine it with the 5-second-video recorded before the trigger to generate a 30-second-long emergency video. The duration of the emergency video couldn’t be manually changed.
Changing sensitivity
The higher the sensitivity, the easier it is to trigger emergency video recording. Set sensitivity according to your needs:
- Press the function button below icon
to enter settings, select Smart travel > Emergency video > Sensitivity and select desired option.
- Open the 70mai app, connect the dash cam and enter the dash cam homepage. Select Settings > Emergency video > Sensitivity and select desired option.
- Open the 70mai app, tap the icon
on the dash cam card, change the sensitivity in Dash cam settings.
