1. How to enable ADAS function?

  1. Press the function button below icon  to enter settings, select Smart travel > ADAS and turn on ADAS.
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions to calibrate the lens. Maintain a driving speed above 40 km/h and avoid changing lanes during calibration.
  3. Select the ADAS warning or prompts you would like to receive. If the speaker volume is turned off, you will not receive ADAS broadcast.

Or you can enable the ADAS function in the 70mai app. After the dash cam is connected with the 70mai app, enable ADAS function in the dash cam settings.

2. What is the ADAS automatic calibration?

When the ADAS function is enabled, each time the dash cam is turned on, if the car speed exceeds 40 km/h, automatic calibration will be started.

The calibration process may last for 5~8 minutes, during which you should maintain a speed of more than 40 km as much as possible.

3. Why does ADAS calibration fail?

Calibration failures may be out of the following reasons:

  • Make sure the lens has been calibrated following the onscreen calibration instructions. Or you can disable and then enable ADAS again to enter the lens calibration process.
  • The car speed during most of the calibration process is less than 40 km/h.
  • The nighttime light is too dim to accurately identify the lane line.
  • The lane line is blurred and unidentifiable.
