Connect the dash cam to your phone following steps below:
Step 1: Turn on dash cam’s Wi-Fi hotspot
When the dash cam is turned on, press the power button to turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot.
When the dash cam is connected to your phone, you can enable the Wi-Fi always on option in dash cam’s settings. And then the Wi-Fi automatically turns on every time the dash cam is turned on.
Step 2: Add dash cam on the 70mai app
Before binding, make sure you’ve installed the latest version of the 70mai app and your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on.
- Open the 70mai app and log in your 70mai account. In the app home page, tap icon
.
- Tap the correct dash cam image (Dash Cam without screen).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the dash cam’s Wi-Fi. In your phone’s WLAN list, find the hotspot name and input the password.
- Press the power button to complete the authorization.
- Tap Open dash cam and follow the instructions to complete the beginner’s guide. And then the dash cam homepage will display.
- Exit the dash cam homepage and then you will find the dash cam card on the app homepage.
If you couldn’t connect the dash cam’s Wi-Fi hotspot, check the followings:
- Please make sure the phone is near the device.
- Please make sure the device hotspot has been turned on and connected normally.
- Please make sure the mobile phone APP related permissions have been turned on.
- Please turn off wireless CarPlay/Android Auto in the car.
Unbind the device
Open the 70mai app, tap the icon on the dash cam card and then select Unbind device.
