Shanghai Hiigge Pet Products Co., LTD (“Hiigge”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your concerns about privacy. This Privacy Policy is effective as of June 27, 2024. We developed this Privacy Policy to provide you with information on the types of your Personal Information (defined as below) we obtain, how we process your Personal Information and with whom it may be shared, and the choices available to you regarding how we collect, store, and use your Personal Information.

Personal Information includes, but is not limited to, the data if it identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could be reasonably linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household.
This Privacy Policy applies to our operations, including our mobile applications (when we refer to “mobile applications”, we mean the Hiigge APP, herein after referred to as the “App”), and any other of our products (when we mention “product” or “products”, we mean the Hiigge-branded hardware products, including our pet smart products, herein after referred to as the “Products”) and services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, “Services”), and applies to the Personal Information Hiigge obtains in various contexts. Additionally, depending on factors such as the device model you are using, service version or location, how specific products or services collect and process your Personal Information may differ.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to consider applicable Federal laws, rules, or regulations, as well as continuously improve our security technology to ensure your Personal Information is safe with us. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the statement and, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website homepage or sending you a notification). - What Personal Information We Collect
Depending on the purposes for which we process your Personal Information from time to time, as explained below, we need to process one or other data. We may collect Personal Information directly from you when you use our App, Products and Services, in specific cases, we may indirectly collect certain Personal Information about you by using a feature or service on our App, Products and Services.
When we use your Personal Information for certain purposes not covered by this Privacy Policy or our contracts with business entities responsible for your Personal Information, we will seek your consent in advance.
Depending on how you interact with our Services, we will process your Personal Information for the following purposes:

We only utilize your Personal Information to comply with laws. We will process the information you have provided your consent to us. We also will process your information when what is reasonably necessary and proportionate to such purpose:

- Communicate with you (including providing you with communications about our Services) and provide customer support
- Process such information as necessary to perform system maintenance or diagnostics; or to develop, maintain, repair, or enhance the Services for which such information was collected
- Conduct internal research or analytics to improve the Services for which such information was collected

- Debug or repair errors that impair the functionality of the Services for which such information was collected

- How We Disclose Your Personal Information
Generally, your Personal Information shall not be transferred or made accessible to any third party. Nevertheless, we may disclose your Personal Information to the following recipients:
- Other Hiigge entities
- Business partners
We may disclose your Personal Information to business partners who provide services to us or cooperate with us, including companies that operate advertising and marketing partner and other business partners. These business partners generally operate as independent data controllers and are responsible for their own compliance with the applicable data protection laws. You should refer to their respective privacy notices for more information about how they process Personal Information.
- Serviceprovider
We may disclose your Personal Information to service providers we have retained (as processors) to perform services on our behalf. These service providers are contractually restricted from processing or disclosing your Personal Information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or to comply with the applicable legal requirements.
Finally, we may disclose your Personal Information: (1) if we are required to do so by law or legal process (such as a court order or subpoena); (2) to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights; (3) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical or other harm or financial loss; (4) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity; or (5) otherwise with your consent.
- How We Store Your Personal Information
Because of the international nature of our business, we transfer Personal Information within the Hiigge group, and to third parties as noted above, in connection with the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will adopt reasonable and feasible measure to protect your Personal Information. To the extent that we may need to transfer Personal Information outside of your jurisdiction, we shall do so in accordance with the applicable laws. In particular, we will ensure that all transfers will be in accordance with requirements under your applicable local data protection laws by putting in place appropriate safeguards.
We only keep your Personal Information within the period required for fulfilling the business purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, unless an extension is required or permitted by applicable law. We will delete by law or is no longer necessary for the purpose for which the data was collected, processed, or transferred, unless an individual has provided affirmative express consent to such retention. You may delete your recordings at any time by accessing your account. However we will keep data when is required by law, or retain in order to comply with professional ethical obligations.
- How We Process Personal Information of Children
Our Services are for adults only. Individuals less than the full age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the jurisdiction where they reside) is a child. As a result, our Services do not request or knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child, we will take steps to delete the Personal Information as soon as possible. Please contact us to erase the Personal Information if you discover your children have registered as our users or provided Personal Information to us.
- Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Your rights are important to us. If you would like to know more about your rights, or raise any requests or inquiries about the topic, please contact us by referring to the “How to Contact Us” Section to exercise these rights. Subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding the processing of your Personal Information:
- Rightto You have the right to confirm with us if your Personal Information has been processed, and the categories of Personal Information processed by us; the purposes for which the categories of Personal Information are processed; the categories of Personal Information that the we share with third parties, if any.
- Request access to your Personal Information. You have the right to obtain a copy of the Personal Informationwe hold about you and certain information relating to our processing of your Personal Information or the categories of the third party that data being transferred to. You also have the right to acquire the Personal Information in an organized, machine-readable format and request that we transfer this data to another controller.
- Request correction of your Personal Information. You are entitled to have your Personal Informationcorrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete. You can update your Personal Information at any time by logging into your account and updating your details directly, or request us to do so.
- Request erasure of your Personal Information. This enables you to request usto delete your Personal Information, however in some cases we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.
- SDKs and tracking tools. Weuse SDKs and similar tracking technologies to analyze interactions with our communications to help us improve our Services and marketing campaigns. If you prefer, you can usually adjust your App settings to remove or reject SDKs. Please note that removing or rejecting SDKs could affect the availability and functionality of our Services.
- Opt-out of sellingor sharing of Personal Information. We do not sell your Personal Information, so we do not offer an opt-out of sale option. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and take any necessary action to comply with applicable law.
- Opt-out of targeted advertising.We do not use your Personal Information for targeted advertising, so we do not offer an opt-out option. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and take any necessary action to comply with applicable law.
- Additional State-Specific Privacy Disclosures
If you are a resident of California, you are afforded several rights regarding your Personal Information under the privacy laws:
- Requestlimit use and disclosure of sensitive Personal Information. You have right to ask us to suspend the processing of your Personal Information in certain scenarios, for instance for those necessary to perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected by an average consumer who requests those goods or services, to perform the services. - Opt-out of sellingor sharing of Personal Information. We do not sell your Personal Information, so we do not offer an opt-out of sale option. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and take any necessary action to comply with applicable law.
- Privacy Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new products, services, and apps, as we improve our current offerings, and as technologies and laws change. You can determine when this Privacy Policy was last revised by referring to the “Last Updated” legend at the top of this page. Any changes will become effective upon our posting of the revised Privacy Policy.
We will provide notice to you if these changes are material and, where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent. This notice will be provided by email or by posting notice of the changes on the Hiigge App that link to this Privacy Policy.
