Important notice

  • Switch off the battery pack before installation. Switch it on after securely connecting all cables. To ensure normal operation after installation, it is advised to keep the battery pack continuously switched on.
  • If the battery pack’s battery level is too low, the indicator will light up briefly upon switching on and then go out quickly. After charging for a period of time, the indicator will start indicating the charging status.
  • Before installation, turn off the vehicle’s engine and power to prevent short circuit.

Method 1: Connecting to the vehicle cigarette lighter

Required accessory: Cigarette lighter charging cable

  1. Insert the XT30 connector of the Cigarette lighter charging cable into the charging port (DC IN) of the battery pack, and connect the other end to the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.
  2. Switch on the battery pack. The indicator will light up, indicating the current battery level.
  3. Ignite and start the vehicle’s engine. The vehicle’s cigarette lighter powers up, initiating the battery pack charging process after a delay of approximately 20 seconds.
  • Notes:
  • Do not select this installation method if the vehicle lacks a cigarette lighter, or if the cigarette lighter continues to supply power after the vehicle is turned off.
  • Charging the battery pack from zero using this method takes about 90 minutes.

Method 2: Connecting to the vehicle fuse box

Required accessories: Fuse box charging cable, fuse holder & fuse

  1. Insert the XT30 connector of the Fuse box charging cable into charging port (DC IN) of the battery pack.
  2. Open the vehicle’s fuse box. Refer to the vehicle’s user manual or use a multimeter to test and locate the constant power (VCC) fuse with a current rating of 20A or higher. Once identified, remove this fuse.
  3. Select a suitable fuse holder from the package. Insert the removed VCC fuse into the vacant slot on the fuse holder. Insert the fuse holder into the original fuse slot in the vehicle’s fuse box.
    a. Input
    b. Output
    C. Fuse supplied with the fuse holder. Do not remove it.
    d. VCC fuse removed from the fuse box
  4. Insert the VCC terminal of the Fuse box charging cable into the fuse holder’s sleeve. Use tool to compress the sleeve to secure the connection.
  5. Remove an ACC fuse of any current rating from the fuse box. Wrap the ACC terminal of the Fuse box charging cable around the output pin of the removed ACC fuse, and then insert the ACC fuse back into its original slot in the fuse box.
    a. Input,
    b. Output
  6. Fix the GND terminal of the Fuse box charging cable to the mental bolt on the vehicle.
  7. Switch on the battery pack. The indicator will light up, indicating the current battery level.
  8. Ignite and start the vehicle‘s engine. After a delay of approximately 20 seconds, the vehicle’s battery begins to charge the battery pack.
  • Notes:
  • The location and shape of the fuse box may vary among vehicles. The image is for reference only. For specific details, refer to the vehicle’s user manual or consult with the automotive dealership.
  • This method requires about 60 minutes to fully charge the battery pack from zero.
Differentiate between VCC, ACC, and GND fuses based on the attached labels.
