Connecting the dash cam
- Select a suitable output cable. Insert the Type-C connector into the Dash cam output port of the battery pack, and insert the other connector into the dash cam’s power port.
- For dash cam with micro-USB power port, use the Type-C to micro-USB output cable.
- For dash cam with Type-C power port, use the Type-C to Type-C output cable.
Note: Use the straight side with L-type rear camera plugs to avoid wiring conflicts.
- Start the vehicle and ignite the engine. When the dash cam turns on, enable the parking surveillance function.
- Allow the vehicle to run for approximately 1 minute. Then turn off the engine and observe if the dash cam automatically enters parking surveillance mode.
If the dash cam enters the specific mode, the connection is normal.
If not, ensure that the cable is firmly connected. Restart the vehicle, let it run for about 1 minute again, and then switch off the engine to check if the dash cam enters parking surveillance mode.
Note: If installing using the cigarette lighter, do not disconnect the cigarette lighter charging cable after the battery pack is fully charged. Disconnecting may trigger the dash cam’s power detection as a parking event, causing it to enter parking surveillance mode.
