Normal recording

When the dash cam is turned on and inserted with a qualified microSD card, it will start recording automatically. In the normal recording status, the icon  displays with a red dot flashing on the left.

If the dash cam supports rear recording (rear camera is required) or internal recording (cabin camera is required), the rear/cabin camera will also start normal recording when the dash cam is turned on.

Note: Some dash cam models are equipped with built-in eMMC (Embedded Multi Media Card) and don’t require additional memory card. Such dash cam models will automatically start recording when turned on.

Suspending recording

Dash cam will stop recording in the following situations:

  • When album is accessed
  • Formatting the memory card or the eMMC.
  • When memory card is unqualified or damaged, or the abnormality in the eMMC is detected.
  • Restoring factory settings
  • Updating firmware

Dash cam will automatically start recording when exiting the above operations.
