Power key

The device has only one physical key which is the power key.

When device is off

  • Press the power key to turn on the device;

When device is on

  • Press the power key to open/close Wi-Fi hotspot;
  • Press and hold the power key to turn off the device;
  • Press the power key 3 times to format the SD card;
  • Press the power key 5 times to restore factory settings.

Indicator

A ring-shaped indicator is at the outer edge of the power key.
The indicator has the following states:

Off state
When the device is turned off, the indicator is off as well.

Keeping on state
When the device is turned on, the indicator is turned on.
When the device is in different running mode, the color of indicator changes as follows:

  • Green: Normally recording;
  • Blue: Not in recording mode;
  • Red: Error in recording.

Breathing state
When the indicator is breathing (regardless of color), the Wi-Fi hotspot is open.
When the indicator is keeping on(regardless of color), the Wi-Fi hotspot is closed.

Flashing state
When the device executes temporary tasks, the indicator is flashing during the whole task process.
There are the following temporary tasks:

Specifications

1. What is the video spec?

70mai dash cam supports recording videos of 1080P, i.e. the dimension of the video is 1920*1080 pixels.
Every second the dash cam records 30 frames, i.e. 30FPS.
You can modify the image quality in device settings page. You can choose “higher quality” and “normal quality”, the default choice is “higher quality”.

2. What is the spec of camera lens?

70mai dash cam uses a 4 glasses camera, FOV is 130°, aperture is F2.2.

3. What is the imaging sensor of the 70 Mai dash cam?

The sensor used by the 70 Mai dash cam is the Sony IMX323.

4. Is the 70 Mai dash cam equipped with an acceleration sensor?

The 70 Mai dash cam is equipped with a three-axis acceleration sensor that can sense the acceleration changes from front to back, left and right and up and down directions and save the collision video separately when the vehicle collides.
