Emergency video recording
Try the following ways to record emergency video:
- Press the function button below the icon
on the main screen.
- Say “Record video” while the cam is running.
- Emergency recording is enabled by default. When dash cam is running, it will record an emergency video automatically when it detects collision.
The process of recording an emergency video can’t be interrupted manually. When the recording is completed, dash cam automatically enters the standard video recording mode.
Note: Dash cam will not record emergency video when it is connected with the app.
Emergency video duration
The cam starts recording a 30-second emergency video the instant any of the above three actions takes place. If the duration of the video taken before the emergency happens is over or equal to 10 seconds, then the cam will combine this 10-secondish video and the 30-second emergency video as one whole emergency video.
If the duration of the video taken before the emergency happens is shorter than 10 seconds, then the cam will combine the complete video before this less-than-10-second video, this less-than-10-second video, and the 30-second emergency video as one whole emergency video.
Changing sensitivity
The higher the sensitivity, the easier it is to trigger emergency video recording. Set sensitivity according to your needs:
- Press the function button below icon
to enter settings, select Smart travel > Emergency video > Sensitivity and select desired option.
- Go to 70mai app, tap the icon
on the dash cam card and tap Dash cam settings. Tap Collision sensitivity in Smart travel section and then select desired option.
