1.Q: How to enable Parking Surveillance function?

The parking surveillance function is disabled by default.  After connecting to the dash cam on the 70mai app, you can go to dash cam “Settings” to enable it.

After the parking surveillance function is enabled, when the device is power off, it will enter the parking surveillance mode. When the car encounters a collision while parking, the device will automatically record a parking surveillance video.

If the cigarette lighter port is still power-on after the car is stopped, the device will enter the parking surveillance mode after parking for 20 minutes. In this case, the parking surveillance function will consume the battery power. If the car does not run for a long time, the battery may be depleted. In this case, it is recommended to use the parking surveillance function in conjunction with the parking surveillance cable.

2. Q: How to view parking surveillance videos?

After connecting to the dash cam on the 70mai app, you can enter Album to view parking surveillance videos.

3.Q: Why the device didn’t enter parking surveillance mode after power-off?

In the following cases, the parking surveillance function does not work:

  • If the device is turned off without external power supply and the built-in battery is low, the device cannot enter the parking surveillance mode.
  • If the device enters the parking surveillance mode without external power supply for a long time, it will keep consuming the power of the built-in battery. If the built-in battery power is too low or depleted, the device will be unable to record surveillance videos.
  • If the device enters the parking surveillance mode without external power supply, and the temperature inside the car is lower than -10°C or higher than 60°C, the built-in battery cannot discharge electricity, and the device will be unable to record surveillance videos when the car encounters a collision.
